Prayer to Scathach for the Warrior Dead

I hail you Scathach,Guardian of warriors.
I hail You, Patroness of soldiers,
Teacher of the arts of war.
I ask Your blessings on the military dead,
those soldiers, fighters, and warriors
who have crossed into the summerland,
and those who remain alive,
carrying wounds of heart, mind, and soul.
Please bless them, Mighty One,
and help them bear their burdens,
for You know the shadows
that weigh upon a warrior’s heart.
Bless them, Scathach,
and I will remember You always,
O Scathach.
